Love Contrast

"Love Contrast" is an original artwork using the power of colour and contrast. Red representing the colour of love but also power. The contrast shown by the black moon and tree, with the tree being barren.
 
The ultimate contrast is societial's vision of what loves looks like and then how it actually can look which is represented by a tree less bountiful. Sometimes we love with all of us, only to be containerised in a specific way and not loved back the same way. The red in this is painted with brush and hand, truely embracing the energy of my own experiences in this artwork.
 
This thick canvas is painted with acrylic and measures 60cm x 80cm.
