Galaxy

"Galaxy" is an original artwork that is recycled and repurposed with love. It's been brought back to life. I love the moon and stars very much, and wanted to capture it across the fields. I remembered how when I would fly and look down at the fields in the country they are all different colours depending on what they are growing. I experimented with some different tecniques for different effects.
 
I achieved the fields by using tapes and a range of cool colours, keeping in with the cooler theme of the moon. Finishing with spattering for stars and a beautiful big moon in the middle, I loved the way this one came together.
 
This artwork was a finalist for the Fisher's Ghost Art award in Campbelltown 2021.
 
This thin canvas is mixed media and measures 20" x 24".
