Butterfly's Light & Shadow

"Butterfly's Light & Shadow" is an original artwork that has evolved over time. Commencing in 2019 and finishing in 2020, this artwork is the merging of a drawing in 2015 during a difficult time, to a painting exploring both light and shadow with acrylic and ink.
 
I believe we all have a light and shadow, and that the butterfly representing evolution fits in with the concept of exploring the light and shadow. It's only in our exploration that we discover our true selves.
 
This thick canvas is mixed media and measures 60cm x 80cm.
